The Kazak rug is an Armenian hand woven rug, made in the areas of the Caucasus, between Tiflis and Erevan. In the south of Tiflis the Kazak rug was known to be coarse with simple designs. The Kazak rugs made in the south of Bordjalou and north of Erevan are known more for their formal designs and and shorter pile.
